About the boys of dough…

Two totally awesome, self proclaimed pizza experts on a never ending quest for the best slices in Philadelphia.

Regardless of your political or religious views. Regardless of whether you’re a dude or a chick. Regardless if you’re rich or poor. Regardless if you’re awesome or a complete wiener…one thing is certain. Everyone loves pizza.

People get it on the go. People get it sitting down at a fancy restaurant. People get it delivered on a friday night. People buy it at the supermarket and throw it in the oven. There’s so many different ways it can be made. 2 people can make the exact same pizza and one can taste a hundred times better than the other based on primitive principals. However all of us have, at one time or another, stopped at that one place where the pizza sucked. Where it was so shitty that we vowed never to get that pizza again.

It is our duty and our honor to hit every place worth mentioning in our area and review the pizza for you guys. We want you to get that perfect slice. We want you to be able to stand proud as you say “that pizza was amazing!” So sit back, relax and let us be the ones who get fat and suffer from high cholesterol.

Yours truly,

Jon and John

  1. What up John I will see know one has said anything on here so… Maybe you might want to investigate the One Stop Pizza Shop on torresdale and maggee or fanshaw somehwere around there. I dated a girl that word at that shop. She said if she spilled pizza sauce on the ground the world make her mop it up with a mop and bucket and put it back on the pizza. If they spilled flour they would just sweep it up with a broom and a dust pan. I don’t know if it is true. Maybe you should go and ask them if it is. I would go my self put I am currently living in Austin Texas.

  4. Try slice at 10th and federal st in phila, delesontros in Trenton, la cucina fonti in dresher, and the best but forget name is in Andorra shopping center in phila, you will not be disappointed. I have been sampling pizza all over the world for the past 30 years. The best is in the roman ghetto – farm to brick oven.
